Well, it took me about 3 days, but I think I may have found the problem. I did go to the DELL SUPPORT ASSISTANCE program and ask for the HID COMPLIANT TOUCH SCREEN update, which it did download and then I looked in the device manager to see if it was there, which it was. have you found out the solution? my HID-compliant touch screen device is also missing (when i say missing, i mean missing. its not in the device manager, not even hidden).. its more that 3years i think my touchscreen didnt work. i search all over the place but find no solution. i also search for drivers but didnt find one. i dont know what else to do to make it works again.
